GEOCHACHING

My very good friend Tara has introduced me and the girls to Geocaching. Here is a basic description of what it all about:

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for gps users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.

Me & Tara out Caching in Fountain Hills

Our first find as a Team. This is a multi-cache. You get the coords then find the cache.
Bayleigh found the CITO Always cache before we even got to it.

This on was so fun. This Hourse is up in Fountain Hills by the Fountain. It is made of all kinds of household items. Brookelynn found the cache on thise one.

Tallest Fountain in the World

On the way to Fountain View

Brookelynn found a Centipede under a rock while we were at A Fountain View

At the end of the day we made one last stop at Solitary Sentinel and MaryAnn went in for the find. I was so pround of her. We all had a long day of caching and hiking. It is always so much fun when you can have a Girls day out.
